Create a personalised KiwiSaver plan – start here:
Everyone in KiwiSaver needs to make an active choice of what fund to be in, since there’s no ‘one size fits all’.
Did you know that there could be a $130k difference by retirement between a conservative and a growth fund? We’ve got the tools and resources to help you see what type of fund suits (balanced, growth, etc) and sort through funds of that type to choose one. This way you make sure your KiwiSaver is a good fit.
Find the best KiwiSaver fund for you
Whether you are looking for a new fund or just want to see how your current one compares, this tool rates them all and lets you see how much you could pay in fees over your entire KiwiSaver experience.
Top money hacks
- Find the right type of fund for you first (eg, balanced, growth), based on how soon you’d like to use your KiwiSaver money and how comfortable you are with risking it.
- Higher fees don’t always mean better service or better results – in fact, they generally limit your returns. On average, in the cheapest fund you’d pay around $3,000, whereas in the most expensive you could pay $102,000 over your KiwiSaver experience!
- Don’t switch to a fund just based on how it has performed… there’s more to it, and there’s no guarantee that positive returns will continue.
