Of Pasifika heritage, Vijay brings more than two decades of leadership experience across the lending, banking, tourism and retail sectors in Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia. As kaihautū matua of Ngā Tāngata Microfinance, he steers the organisation’s strategic vision, advocating for ethical, accessible financial solutions that uplift and empower whānau across the motu.  
 
Ange Smart – team lead at MoneyTalks  
Ange has led the team at MoneyTalks for more than 20 years, and her background working in finance in the private, NGO and charitable sectors means there isn’t much she hasn’t seen! She says that, ultimately, it always comes back to people and how we can help those around us to enjoy life and be there to lift others up when times are tough. 

Todd Calkin – head of customer and engagement at ASB  
A personal finance fanatic, Todd has the privilege of heading up the Financial Wellbeing & Inclusion team within the personal banking division at ASB. In this role, he’s responsible for setting ASB’s financial wellbeing strategy, developing tools and experiences to help customers access guidance and advice, and helping customers understand and take their next best step to improving their financial wellbeing.
