Batman. Superman. Barbie. Ken. They’re forever young … but what if they weren’t?
Imagine an alternate universe, where superheroes get old and weary.
Where Batman has a second act as a beautician…
… and a third as a financial advisor.
Where they receive NZ Super, like everyone else (even if still working).
Where Ken and Barbie still have their looks…
but they're running low on cash.
Here at the Commission for Financial Capability (the organisation behind Sorted) we did just that as part of our review of retirement income policies. We’ve living longer, our population’s getting older … even if retirement is a long way off for many of us, the time to talk about it is now.
