“It gets me by.”

There’s so much life left over at the end of the money sometimes. Many of us use debt to make ends meet before the next pay rolls in, or to bail ourselves out in an emergency.

For those of us who struggle to get from one payday to the next, consider creating a budget. And for those unexpected expenses that life throws our way, it’s a good idea to save up a rainy day fund so we're covered when they happen.

“It stresses me out.”

If it feels like we can't get on top of our debt, we may be losing sleep or worse. Debt needs to be a tool that works for us – not us for it.

If it’s not making life better, it’s time to take control of our debt and find the quickest way out.

“It gives me possibilities.”

Most of us would not be able to pay for an education, start a business, or buy a property if we didn’t have access to debt. Leverage helps – when it gets us ahead and puts us in a better place.

It’s important to know the true cost of what we’re paying for, and to make sure we’re borrowing as efficiently as possible.
